Hi Next Gen'ers,

Just a reminder...the ESSER Survey is due today.  The AG's Office is trying to quantify how big the Federal Fiscal Cliff is going to be when ESSER goes away.  On the one hand, if you report that all of your ESSER money is being used for ongoing salaries and benefits with no replacement funding identified then you look ill prepared for the looming drop off in funding.  On the other hand, if you say there's nothing to worry about and everything is going to be ok then that doesn't create any pressing need to get addressed.  All of that being considered, I would say just try to paint an accurate picture of how life is going to look in your District when we no longer have ESSER Funds and definitely get something submitted.

 Also, I appreciate all of the congratulations that have been sent over but I do want to clarify that I will still be leading the Next Gen group.  We have more hands on deck now and they will handle a lot of the work in the background like continuing to build our website and web application.  Hopefully, you have taken a chance to look at our website at NGSB.io but I think you are really going to be impressed with the web application when it's completed.  It's currently targeted for a June release so we are getting closer.  Have a good week everyone!
